Respirator

Many patients need help breathing during their stay in intensive care. It is therefore possible to use a respirator.

It is a machine that blows air into the patient's lungs and assists the patient when a respiratory, cardiovascular or coma condition compromises the effectiveness of breathing. This makes it possible to maintain a stable and sufficient oxygen content in the patients' blood as well as to eliminate carbon dioxide.

For this, the patient will be connected to the ventilator through the intubation probe placed in his trachea.

The placement of this probe is always done under anesthesia.
